Here’s a simple checklist: Daily (Before Starting Work) • Check engine oil level • Check hydraulic fluid level • Inspect tracks or tires for cuts/damage • Look for leaks under the machine • Test all controls and safety switches Weekly • Grease all fittings (bucket pins, boom, etc.) • Clean air filter and radiator • Check battery connections • Inspect hoses for cracks or wear Monthly or Every 50 Hours • Change engine oil & filter (if using heavily) • Check hydraulic filters • Inspect bucket teeth / cutting edge • Tighten all bolts on boom and bucket Winter Tip for Medina NY area: Pay extra attention to frozen grease fittings and keep the battery fully charged.
